#ArtforAthletes: An Online Auction Benefiting the Challenged Athletes Foundation

On November 10th, 2022, Private Art Consulting and Wisdom Audio launched Art for Athletes, a campaign and online auction designed to benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation. The featured auction item was commissioned by Wisdom Audio, a US-based manufacturer specializing in luxury Planar magnetic drivers loudspeakers, and hand-painted by artist Craig Black. The final creation is dramatic, contemporary and multi-faceted.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Challenged Athletes Foundation, which for over 29 years has supported athletes with physical disabilities so they can pursue active lifestyles through physical fitness and competitive athletics. CAF has given more than $147 million to adaptive athletes, covering over 40,000 grant requests, spanning 70 countries, and 104 different adaptive sports and physical activities.

Craig Black is a Scottish Visual Artist and former professional soccer player best known for his ‘Acrylic Fusion’ technique and its captivating application and execution on artworks, murals, products and installations. Black credits his dedication and tenacity to his unique sports background.

Wisdom Audio, whose systems make their way into some of the most beautiful homes and super yachts across the globe, teamed up with Black to create a custom one-of-a-kind acrylic fusion painting on top of the Sage Series P48 Point Source Speaker System. The final creation represents the magic that happens when the right partners come together for a greater purpose.
